Discussie fair value zwelt aan (1)

Regels voor fair value moeten op de helling ter versterking van de Europese economie. Dat betoogden onlangs drie deskundigen van de European Financial Reporting Advisory Group (EFRAG), het Europese orgaan voor technisch advies over de toepassing van IFRS.

Minder regelgeving begint bij cultuur aan de top

"De cultuur aan de top bij bedrijven en instellingen speelt een belangrijke rol bij de maatschappelijke behoefte om het aantal regels en het toezicht hierop fors terug te dringen. Regels en richtlijnen ontstaan vaak als reactie op een incident dat grote maatschappelijke of economische beroering wekt." Dit alles tenminste volgens het rapport 'Hypegiaphobia' van KPMG.

Een planningshorizon die verder weg gelegen is, biedt u de mogelijkheid meer tijd aan voorbereiding, planning en beheersing van de (proces)stappen te doen. Hierbij is het van belang alle stappen de revue te laten passeren. Dit kan uiteindelijk veel tijd besparen.

Europese financials net zo verhuisbereid als Amerikanen

Uit onderzoek van Robert Half Finance & Accounting blijkt dat 73 procent van de Europese financiële werknemers voor een nieuwe baan zou overwegen te verhuizen naar een andere stad. Daarmee zijn ze nu net zo genegen tot verhuizen als Amerikanen (72 procent).

Financiele dienstverleners meest tevreden over baan en werkgever

Financiële dienstverleners zijn de meest tevreden medewerkers van Nederland. In een groot landelijk medewerkerstevredenheid-onderzoek van Integron geven zij daarvoor het cijfer 7.21. Dat ligt 0,16 punten boven het gemiddelde van de elf ondervraagde sectoren. Binnen de financiële dienstverlening scoren arbeidsvoorwaarden, toekomstperspectief en de OR het hoogst van alle sectoren.

Dwangsom voor overheid
