The current credit crisis might lead to a real credit crunch on financial markets worldwide. Banks will sharply reduce lending to businesses and households. Although average financing costs in the euro-zone have remained relatively stable, how long will this last? When will the credit crisis lead to a credit crunch? And how can we prepare for that possibility?
