Achmea's version of Lean, a corporate transformation into a 21st century financial organization, focusing on the client

Since the merger with Interpolis, Achmea has developed into a multi-branded insurer. Almost every household in the Netherlands has one or more Achmea products. To capitalize on this in terms of operational excellence, Achmea has decided to run a Lean program called SENS, targeted at implementing continuous improvement within Achmea. Integrated in SENS are change interventions to ensure that the new way of working is standard day-to-day practice. Operational management tools will be included to offer fast, short cycle feedback for line management and workers.
