The acquisition of ABN AMRO fits seamlessly into the growth strategy of Fortis, says Gilbert Mittler, Member of Group Executive Committee, responsible for Finance, Risk and General Counsel at Fortis. The bank insurer has strengthened its position as one of the largest financial service providers in Europe thanks to the acquisition of ABN AMRO.
